Crisis Intervention

Supporting people who are sex working, or being exploited into sex work, and supporting them to resolve presenting issues.

Issues can include housing, criminal justice and welfare needs, including promoting and facilitating positive health interventions. 

This includes making referral and advocacy support, signposting people to a range of services, including drug/alcohol, mental health, police and housing services. Working creatively with partners and statutory agencies to overcome barriers to accessing services. Supporting service users to engage with longer-term support services, including other services within POW.
