POW partners with NHS Sexual Health Services and The Health Shop to provide comprehensive sexual health screening, contraception and sexual health treatment for any client at POW. NHS Sexual health nurses attend the POW drop-in service every Thursday from 2pm-5.30pm to hold a sexual health clinic.
Our Off-Street worker can attend home visits and off-street venues to provide sexual health screening and advice to off-street workers at their request. Please contact lisa@pow-advice.co.uk to book.
Every Thursday at POW from 2pm-5pm we have a specialist drugs clinic, run by partners in the NHS and Nottingham Recovery Network, for people who want to undertake detox and be provided with the appropriate prescription services to support them with withdrawal or reduction from drugs.
New clients need to book in for this service prior to attending, however booking is not essential for returning clients. Please contact our team if you would like to access this service.
Framework’s street outreach team come out with POW during street outreach sessions on a fortnightly basis on a Monday. The team are able to meet up with any client’s who would like housing support, at a time and place that suits the client/you.
A Specialist Navigator from Housing Aid attends POW on a monthly basis, the first Thursday of the month, to help clients/you with any housing advice or referrals required.
Attend POW on a weekly basis on a Monday if you having any health concerns and need to speak to a nurse.
Attend POW on a weekly basis on a Monday if you want to speak to anyone about your mental health and wellbeing.
